We are scheduled to meet at 11:30 am but the place only just opens then so don’t be too early.
These final results include the results from October 30 together with the eight races sailed on November 6.
What a fabulous day for sailing on Sullivan’s Pond, 22 degrees and wind throughout the day. It started out with a steady southwest wind at about 12 km and, became lighter and shiftier with some stiffer gusts and started to fade by the end of the day.
Bob White had a better second day and finished fifth.
Brian Lugar finished fourth to end his rookie season with a strong performance just three points out of third held by Gary Bugden.
Bob Boutilier rebounded from a breakdown on Day 1 to finish second and in top spot was Jim Goddard.
Our AGM is slated for Sunday November 20, 2022. Everyone is welcome to attend, details will be emailed and posted soon.
A challenging day of racing highlighted by the largest turnout of the season with fifteen boats on the line for five heats. Sunday was day one of the two day Frostbite Regatta with day two scheduled for Sunday November 6, 2022 starting at 1 pm.
Despite the travails of 180 degree wind shifts, large areas of vanishing wind pressure some close racing and great fun were the order of the day. Only a few points separate third place from seventh and day two of the regatta could see some big changes in the order. Dropped races will carry forward and with nice weather and wind we could get another ten races completed next week.
