Paul Switzer of Kingston, ON successfully defended his National title over two days of close and exciting sailing in Lunenburg, NS.

Jim Goddard of the host club Halifax Area Model Yacht club was second and Janice Anderson of Chester was third.

Although the fleet was a little smaller this year the racing was fierce in light and shifting conditions which filled in each day to moderate and shifty conditions.

The day started out with very light wind and a hint of rain in the forecast. By 3 PM the racing was over with just five races completed and a constant shower in progress.

The first race of the day took over 30 minutes to complete, the average most days is half that. Jim Goddard led the way with Bob Boutilier and Janice Anderson breaking the streak in the 4th race of the day.
