RESULTS 2020 Commodores Cup – Soling 1M Sunday Series #6

The racing took place at the Cranberry Pond on Heckman’s Island, many thanks to the folks at Terra Beata for allowing us to use this spot.

Bob Boutilier emerged the winner with Brian McDonah taking home second place and Jim Goddard was third. This was the second regatta of the summer for the Soling 1M fleet and prizes are awarded for this event.

The conditions made for a lot of close racing and some shuffling of the order.
A good evening of sailing with some light winds and a few shortened courses. Jim won but had to miss the last race after grounding on Mount Bugden and breaking the gooseneck during recovery. The conditions made for a lot of close racing and some shuffling of the order.
