Just finished a race that I won as Mary pulled in on her bike. My good friend Brian Wilmshurst is in the background. Just prior to that he fixed my main sheet. Went to school with Brian.Start of race #3, Bob Boutilier in the yellow boat crushed the start which favoured a leeward buoy start. Bold move to start on port as might have to duck the fleet on starboard who have the right awayHe’s rolling over me. Fountain in the background lA few seconds later, looking for clean air.Bob ( Boots) advancing.Boat surging along, got a lovely thread of wind, ended up second in this race to BootsWind filling in the iconic Sullivan’s Pond. At the lower end there was a delightful band playing all afternoon. At the upper end the Streets were closed for a festival, tons of folks about asking questions. Great day, great bunch.
