What a great weekend in Stowe.
Tough sailing conditions at times, some close racing, and tight finish. In the end, Jim Goddard of HAMYC won the individual regatta by one point and the USA retained the team title by a narrow result.
Thanks to all the great Canadian sailors who took part, come back next year!

Remember this from 2012?
We had three members sail at the Canadians in Toronto. It is a long trip, and we spent some time promoting future events in Nova Scotia.
It would be nice to see greater participation from other clubs in events we host here.

Paul Switzer of Kingston, ON successfully defended his National title over two days of close and exciting sailing in Lunenburg, NS.
Jim Goddard of the host club Halifax Area Model Yacht club was second and Janice Anderson of Chester was third.
Although the fleet was a little smaller this year the racing was fierce in light and shifting conditions which filled in each day to moderate and shifty conditions.
